Policies and Discounts
Campground Stay Restrictions
Campers are limited to a maximum 14-night stay. After 14 nights the campers must vacate the property for 48 hours before they can re-register for an additional stay. Campers must reserve at least a two nights on the non-holiday weekends, either a Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday combination*. On holiday weekends campers are required to reserve three nights. (See Holiday Schedule) *NOTE: Walk in camping rentals may register for one weekend night only depending on campsite availability.
Cabins Stay Restrictions
Campers are limited to a maximum 14-night stay. After 14 nights the campers must vacate the property for 48 hours before they can re-register for an additional stay.
During the off-season there is a 2 night minimum stay Sunday through Thursday. Weekend stays during this time must include both Friday and Saturday nights.
During the Peak Season (Third week of June through second week of August) there is a minimum of 7 nights stay, Saturday to Saturday for all cabins. Cabins may be rented for 2 nights or more. If a cabin has not been reserved for the 7 night minimum stay during the peak season 14 days prior to anticipated arrival date a customer can rent the cabin for 2 nights or more at Lincoln, McCormick's Creek, Shakamak, and Chain O' Lakes State Park. Whitewater, Harmonie and Potato Creek state park can be rented for 2 nights or more if reserved 90 days prior to anticipated arrival date.
Cancellation Policies

Indiana DNR does not refund due to inclement weather for any of our
facilities.

Cabins
Changes or cancellations made up to close of business 31 days or more prior to your arrival date will result in a $25 cancellation fee per reservation. Reservations cancelled 30 days or less of your scheduled arrival date will result in the loss of the first night's cabin rental fee.

Shelters and Recreational Buildings
Cancellations made up to close of business 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiting half the total rental fee. If you cancel 14 days or less up to and including your scheduled arrival date, you will forfeit the full days rental.

Campsites, Canoe Campgrounds and Group Cottages
Cancellations made up to close of business the day prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in the loss of the first night's rental fee or up to a $10 cancellation fee per reservation.

Group Camp
Changes or cancellations 91 days or more from the scheduled arrival date will result in forfeiture of the first night's rental fee or $100 cancellation fee, whichever is less. Cancellations 90 days or less will result in forfeiture of the first night's rental fee. On or after the date of arrival, please contact the property directly for the refund policy. Any remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to your date of arrival or it will result in an automatic cancellation.

Youth Tent and Rally Campgrounds
Changes or cancellations made between the conclusion of this phone call and close of business the day(s) prior to your scheduled arrival date will result in a $10 cancellation fee. (For Sunday or Monday arrivals, cancellations must be made by 12 pm EST on the Saturday prior.) For cancellations made on or after your scheduled arrival date, you must contact the property directly for the refund policy. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival at the property.

Refunds
Refunds are not issued for inclement weather or on holiday weekends
(holiday weekends may require three (3) day occupancy).
When situations arise that prevent the guests from using reservations,
they are encouraged to cancel reservations prior to the date of arrival
through InfoSpherix, Inc. at 866-622-6746. If guests are unable to cancel
prior to the date of arrival or if they are required to depart early due
to medical or family emergencies, they may contact the property to see if
they might qualify for a partial refund.
Site Transfer/Reservation Transfer

Group Camps
No transfers are permitted for cabin reservations.

Cabins
Transfers are permitted for cabin reservations within the same property and same rental season. It also must be the same or higher nightly rate. Transfers must be done 48 hours before arrival date. A $5.00 fee for each site transfer will be assessed for this service.

Shelters and Recreational Buildings
A site transfer to another date or another shelter (additional rental fee collected/refunded if transfer shelter is at a different rate) on the same date will be allowed. Transfers to another person are not allowed. Transfer must be made in the same rental season and must be done 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival. A $5.00 fee for each site transfer will be assessed for this service. Twenty-nine days or less will result in a cancellation with a fee.

A reservation can be transferred to another site or another date (customer must keep the same number of rental nights or use the cancellation policy) up until 8:00pm the night before the scheduled arrival date through the call center only. The transfer must be within the same park and must be within the same rental season. Transfers to another person are not allowed. Unlimited number of site transfers/changes will be allowed. A $5.00 fee for each site transfer will be assessed for this service. Additional/refund rental fee will be collected/refunded if the transfer facility is at a different rate.

Group Cottages
A reservation can be transferred to another site or another date (customer must keep the same number of rental nights or use the cancellation policy) up until 8:00pm the night before the scheduled arrival date through the call center only. The transfer must be made within the same park property and must be within the same rental season. Transfers to another person are not allowed. Unlimited number of site transfers/changes will be allowed. A $5.00 fee for each site transfer will be assessed for this service. Additional/refund rental fee will be collected/refunded if the transfer facility is at a different rate.
Tax Exempt Organizations
Tax exempt organizations must follow the steps listed below for this exemption to apply for all facilities except shelters.

Provide a copy of the tax-exempt certificate along with a planned activity or program for which this exemption is being applied.

Reservation will be made for the full charge and the exemption will be applied once it is approved.
The tax exemption does not apply to county lodging taxes which must be paid by all users.

Required Holiday Schedule

Camping:
For all major holidays within the reservation season, if the holiday is on a Friday the required stay will be Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. If the holiday falls on Saturday, Sunday or Monday the required minimum stay will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If the holiday falls on any other weekday it will just be a regular one night minimum stay.
